Hello students!!!!

Someone suggested a class blog, so here it is.  Ask lots of questions, give lots of answers and chat in a relaxed way about the great books that we read and the great writing that we do.  Post your favorite poem.  OH!!! Do not forget to pick a poem that you want to recite to the class.  The first poem can be read off of a paper.  The second poem needs to be memorized!!!! I hope you are curled up by a fire reading book two of the Odyssey! Ms. G (aka poetry by lisa)

  5. 1)Do the poems need to be by a published author?
2)Does it need to be a poem, or could it be something else poetic like the lyrics to a song or a quotation from a book?

I know the directions said poem, I just wanted to see if those options were available. :)

  8. So in the black boy assignment how are we supposed to do number 4 if we are coming up with the one sentence about the theme hunger as a group? Do we just wait to do that one until we have decided on a sentence as a group?
